  1. Hi
I’m enjoying your blog and think the idea behind it is great. It would be good to have a query corner somewhere so that readers/followers could give you suggestions about health strategies that we would appreciate research on. For the record I’m interested in the benefits of drinking warm lemon water first thing in the morning (some people are drinking it all day, is it better first thing?). Also the benefits of weight bearing exercise to maintain bone density. I don’t mind exercise but I’d rather just ride my bike and my partner tells me that won’t do anything much for my cardio fitness or my bone density. Do I really need t get into the gym and pump iron to maintain good bones?

    Thanks

    1. Hi Deb,

Thanks for the compliment and suggestion. That’s a great idea, I will put out a poll today to see what readers want reviewed. Those are some good topics you have put forward, I’ll have a look into the science on them today.

      Thank you!

  2. Hello!

Thank you for the like on my “Setback” post. I actually wasn’t going to write it. But I wanted to have transparency on my blog. Glad to see it was worth it.
Looking forward to reading more from your blog. (Especially interested in reading that kombucha post)

    ~Salut!~

  3. Hi there, lovely blog, but would be intertested to know Where you are. With blogs being global I sometimes think that we read a term and wonder if that applies in our country. I am in the UK, and you? Also, I would like to have a name to a person writing things, not just qualifications. So who are you, what is your name, introduce yourself to the SM community please.

    1. Hi,

Thanks so much for the comment – great points.

I’m based in Melbourne, Australia. As for my name, I don’t want to divulge that just yet, as my job requires me to teach Pilates, perform massage etc., and some of my articles are critical of this.

  4. Ah that would explain the Doctorate of Physiotherapy! thanks for clearing that up, in my mind at least. Must have a look at your posts on Pilates and massage, as I love them both, for myself and my patients, so will eagerly read those and keep my thoughts to myself lol G’day Melbourne

  5. Intriguing blog, and I wish you good luck with it. I am strongly sympathetic to your cause, because I am also associated with the production of skin gels based on plant extracts, most of which were used in ancient times and are now more or less forgotten. So, keep up the good work.

      1. It is in’t it? EMS actually started way back in 1902 and 70 years later, it was tested on human beings. And back on the day, EMS training was mainly used for therapy and rehab in professional sports to improve performance. But, here we are with more developed technology from Germany, it’s been used in fitness 😀

  10. Hey,

My name is Brent and I promote Purium because I believe in the product. I too am a Biochemistry major, also with a minor in biology and going into clinical anatomy. I intend to go into medical school afterward. I have my story on the first page of my website, which I ask that you check out. I will be adding more pages and some studies on the product so I ask that you help me evaluate the product that I distribute. I hope we can have the chance to connect on our websites! I am always happy to meet people who think like I do!

    Thanks,
    Brent

I’ve just started blogging, am a voracious reader, particularly on all things health, and have a long history of trying out many different treatments. Had to get my ideas on paper (the internet) as I have so many tips and facts swimming around in my head!
